The profession:

As an industrial clerk, you will have an overview of many commercial fields of activity.

To give you even more variety, your knowledge of purchasing, scheduling/logistics, internal sales, HR, accounting and project management is in demand.

Tasks:

• Purchasing:
  Preparation of inquiries, comparison of offers, ordering, acceptance and storage of materials and goods
• Disposition/Logistics:
  Planning truck loads
• Internal sales department:
  Order processing and customer service
• Personnel:
  Support for personnel management
• Accounting:
  Invoice verification and preparation of preliminary calculations
• Project management:
  Supporting project management in exciting projects

This is what you will learn during your training as an industrial clerk:

If you decide to train as an industrial clerk, you will become an all-rounder in business! You will learn first-hand what companies need to function - from the procurement of raw materials to the sale of the finished product and its marketing. So it's not just about figures, but also about planning, organization and communication. The following topics await you during your training:

• Purchasing and logistics: You organize that all materials are in the right place at the right time so that everything is ready for production.
• Sales: You help to market and sell products.
• Personnel: You will learn how to look after employees.
• Finance and accounting: You keep an eye on the finances, create invoices and book everything correctly.

School requirements:

•  Without specifications
• Intermediate school leaving certificate / secondary school leaving certificate an advantage
• 60% of the students usually have „Mittlere Reife“
• 40% of the students usually have „Abitur“

Course of the training:

• Dual training (company/vocational school)
• First part of the final examination at the end of the second year of training and second part at the end of training
