The profession:

As an industrial business administrator, you have a good grasp of many areas of business operations.
To give you even more variety, we're looking for your expertise in purchasing, planning/logistics, inside sales, human resources, accounting, and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Shopping:
  • Assistance with preparing requests for quotes, comparing quotes, ordering, receiving, and storing materials and goods
  • Scheduling/Logistics:
  • Support for Planning Truck Loads
  • In-House Sales:
  • Support with order processing and customer service
  • Staff:
  • Support for Human Resources Management
  • Accounting:
  • Assistance with invoice verification and the preparation of preliminary cost estimates
  • Project Management:
  • Supporting project management on exciting projects

General Requirements:

  • Interest in Mathematics
  • Knowledge of economics
  • Prior knowledge of accounting

Here's what you'll learn during your apprenticeship as an industrial clerk:

If you decide to pursue an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, you’ll become a well-rounded professional in the business world! You’ll learn firsthand what companies need to operate—from sourcing raw materials to selling the finished product and marketing it. So it’s not just about numbers, but also about planning, organization, and communication. The following topics await you during your apprenticeship:

  • Purchasing and Logistics: You’ll make sure all materials are in the right place at the right time so that everything is ready to go for production
  • Sales: You'll help market and sell products
  • Human Resources: You'll learn how to manage employees
  • Finance and Accounting: You keep track of the finances, create invoices, and record everything correctly

Academic Requirements:

  • Without guidelines
  • Middle School Diploma / Realschulabschluss is a plus
  • 60%: Students generally have a „Mittlere Reife“ diploma“
  • 40%: Students generally have the „Abitur“

Training Program:

  • Dual Training (Company/Vocational School)
  • The first part of the final exam at the end of the second year of training, and the second part at the end of the training program
